A commercial space located on the ground floor of the newly renovated Poste du Louvre, on Rue Jean-Jacques Rousseau in Paris. The empty shell had just been delivered to accommodate future shops. Everything had to be imagined for this Japanese restaurant offering a menu centered on handrolls.
With its impressive volume, the space evokes serenity.
An organic and mineral interior. Custom-designed wooden stools face a large raw concrete bar.
A towering composition of wooden shelves behind the bar enhances the cathedral-like feel of the space.
Custom-made ceramics in all colors, sea pebbles to rest one’s chopsticks, and then little, very little, else.
