Originally located on a single level, this Parisian apartment expanded over the years. Very segmented before its rehabilitation, the apartment can now be modular based on the configurations desired by the family. The key decision was to provide the possibility of opening and connecting the living spaces, such as the kitchen, dining room, entrance, and living room. The two large doors allow, depending on their position, to offer a varying degree of intimacy between these spaces.
The omnipresent use of white enhances these spaces, which previously suffered from a low ceiling height. White covers the entire apartment, and the functions of the spaces are no longer distinguished.
As the only vestige of the former apartment, the two large black iron beams stand prominently in the middle of the space.
